The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has issued a product recall on the Dick Smith portable DVD/media player.
This product has been recalled due to the potential for the battery to overheat, resulting in a possible fire hazard.
The DVD players were sold at Dick Smith Electronics stores nationally between 19th August 2011 – 26th July 2012. They can be identified by Catalogue No.: D6202 APN: 9315999144934. If you have purchased this particular DVD player, please cease using it immediately and return to any Dick Smith store for a full refund.
